Week 1 Joey DiLeo Mobius Strip

Mobius strip is something very powerful and interesting, personally I have never heard of it which made it more interesting to connect with myself. It explains that there is two sides to a strip, the way I look at it is internal and external. The external is like your outside life in which you are open about a lot or certain things and when is comes to internal it's like your inner strength, beliefs, faiths, etc. For me its my faith. Children are usual taught this at school because they start to realize what things or beliefs are to be told to others and what not to be told. We put up a inner wall that we only allow the people who believe the same as you or the ones you really trust. We build a center circle by connecting it. The center still is looked as a wall whereas you still only allow certain people in there. Then comes the mobius strip, when you connect in a odd shape that shows internal and external sides connect with each other in a continuous fashion.

Learning the mobius strip has benefit me in many ways such as it opened my eyes to when I do become a teacher in the real world because I will have many students who put up walls like this and sooner later those students will slowly start to open up to me as a teacher. After learning about mobius strip, I really thought in depth on how it connects to my life. It definately does because I was the type of quiet student who kept to myself in many ways and it affected me. I wish that I was able to open up and find that connection between internal and external.
